Job Description

Strategic Account Manager – Main Responsibilities:

This is a business critical role where you will become part of a passionate team, with a focusing on maintaining long lasting relationships with clients, manage sales targets and strategic account management / business development objectives. You will focus on around 2-3 key account relationships maintaining those same clients whilst seeking up / cross-selling opportunities.

  • Understand the potential client’s business issues and areas for improvement
  • Development of relationship with existing top spending accounts via meetings
  • Developing sales within existing accounts
  • Identify pain points and match a solution accordingly
  • Articulate the message of the businesses services and sell the brand
  • Achieve and exceed set targets

Strategic Account Manager – Required Abilities:

  • Proven track record within IT sales ideally dealing with partners
  • 2-3 years proven track record consistently achieving against targets
  • Networking abilities – do you take satisfaction in expanding your contacts?
  • Evidence of strong organisational skills in a fast-moving environment
  • Evidence that you can create and sell solutions to a variety of companies
  • Demonstrable interest in technology (even better if its data)
  • Previous experience in a tech company or in professional services would be advantageous
