Our client is the leading provider of IT and telecoms as a managed service to the UK’s commercial property sector. Currently, they serve over 1700 landmark office buildings and shopping centres, offering everything from the desktop to the data centre, telephony and business broadband solutions for a predictable fixed monthly subscription fee. All their services are continually monitored and fully supported by our UK service desk. Due to future expansion plans they are looking for an proficient Operations Manager to join their team.

Sales Operations Manager – Our Client:

  • Provides IT and telecoms to over 200 varied enterprise clients
  • Clients include CBRE, Savills, Cushman and Wakefield, CEG, JLL, Knight Frank, GVA and Colliers
  • Cyber Essentials certified

Sales Operations Manager – The Role:

  • Management of sales Forecasting
  • Development and maintenance of team dynamic / Structure
  • Conduct regular 121 reviews with staff and generate personal development
  • Set the process in conjunction with other member of management
  • Develop accurate forecasting tools and measurement of metrics
  • Manage sales pipeline
  • Conduct account planning with other team members ensuring regular contact is obtained with all customer at least via telephone
  • Generate and action plans to gain remaining 20% market share of the property focused businesses
  • Manage and develop current sales team consisting of Account Managers, Sales Administrators and Team Leaders

Sales Operations Manager – The Candidate:

  • Business-to-Business (B2B) Sales management experience within IT Sales
  • Proven track record in growing revenue streams across a team and within a fast-moving Sales environment
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Strong decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work to SLAs and deadlines
  • Exceptional motivational skills
  • Ability to communicate both written and verbal at all levels
  • Excellent numeracy and forecasting skills
  • Proven experience in customer relationship management
  • Track record of mentoring and developing team members
  • Relevant product and industry knowledge
