The Role:

  • Encourage existing partners to buy more products/services from the company (e.g. payroll, revenue generating features, new ‘profitable partner’ propositions) to increase the ARPU of each client
  • Encourage existing partners to add more clients to their portfolio (e.g. by notifying them of new product offerings, regulatory changes (e.g. MTD), offering/hosting training (see below)
  • Ensure existing partners (and their clients) fully understand how to use the system and are aware of its benefits e.g. via demos and/or training of partners or their clients (see below), working with Marketing or other teams to share resources with Partners, etc
  • Successfully renew contracts with partners, aiming to (at a minimum) retain the existing number of clients (and the value of each client), and to ensure a smooth experience for the accountant and the company through the subscription system
  • Work effectively with Customer Onboarding Specialist to ensure smooth handover of any new accountant partner
  • Understand needs of any new account partners referred by Customer Onboarding Specialist, including what the partner needs the product to do, number and type of clients (value of opportunity)
  • Agree pricing with new accountants prospect within approved pricing framework
  • Escalate new opportunities to Manager or SMT as required (i.e. if falls outside agreed framework, or has other features that mean escalation is appropriate

 

The Candidate:

  • Minimum of a years’ experience in technology within a similar role
  • Experience managing and developing end user customers
