Job Description

You will be joining one of the leading supplier of technology products and services throughout the UK & Ireland.

An opportunity has arisen to join the senior leadership team to help plan, develop and execute their marketing activities across the business.

You will be responsible for working closely with a wide range of stakeholders and leading a team of 20 colleagues across the business.

The Role

  • Developing and owning the marketing strategy
  • Owning the marketing budget, analysing activity and metrics, along with resulting return on investment to maximise efficiency of spend
  • Leading on the internal communications and events strategy, planning and execution
  • Planning and optimising marketing resource across both the internal team and external partners
  • Collaborating with senior stakeholders in the business to gather input and ensure consultation
  • Developing innovative and exciting campaigns with customer excellence at the core
  • Working with internal departments to ensure that all communications are consistent and timely
  • Engaging with key partners and vendors to ensure collaboration and consistency
  • Identifying new opportunities and drive activity into potential target markets within the IT Channel
  • Analysing market intelligence and competitive analysis, adapting marketing strategy as necessary

What skills will you need?

  • Experience leading a marketing function, preferably within the IT channel
  • Passionate about developing teams and individuals – excellent management skills
  • A background in brand building, product/services marketing, and demand generation
  • Strong eye for design, visual and written communication formats, and latest marketing trends
  • Business acumen, analytical skills and a bias towards metrics
