Business Development Manager – Position Overview:

Your main goal will be to promote business growth by expanding our customer base. Our client are looking for someone with B2B phone-based sales experience in generating new sales by using various sales techniques and generating leads through different marketing activities including attending events, cold calling, organising and following up on sales campaigns. You will be responsible for influencing existing or potential customers to buy products and services.

You must be friendly and persuasive. We are looking for a fast learner, but you will be supported in developing a comprehensive knowledge of company’s solutions and services portfolios. Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to;

  • Meet net new leads target set by the company
  • Make telephone calls to prospects
  • Answer incoming calls from prospective customers
  • Go the “extra mile” to help the company meet sales targets and facilitate future sales
  • Keep accurate and detailed records of calls made and results achieved
  • Attend team meetings to discuss team targets and performance

Business Development Manager – Required Skills / Experience:

  • Proven track record of successfully meeting targets in new leads generation and meetings set up over the phone
  • Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. MS Office, Salesforce CRM software)
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proactive and driven to achieve
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Strong communication skills, both with colleagues and customers
  • Ability to quickly learn new software tools, and adapt them to business needs
