Our client is the industry-leading IT security & mobility solutions provider, their goal is to provide the right security and mobility solutions to protect business and help create a competitive advantage by ensuring they fully understand what drives the sectors in which we work and being experts in the multiple solutions available. Due to future expansion plans they are looking for a competent Account Director to join their team.

Account Director – The Role:

The role requires the management of opportunities through the complete sales life cycle with the support of our marketing team to generate the opportunities initially.  Key to this role will be the ability to roll your sleeves up, get on the phone and generate new business and manage a range of projects with full ownership and accountability ensuring our customers consistently receive an exceptional quality of service.

  • New business generation
  • Work with our Marketing Manager to put together Marketing campaigns to promote Cloud Knox
  • Achieve 3 -5 closed opportunities in the next 6 months
  • Produce accurate forecasting and reporting to the Sales Manager
  • Produce quotations and proposals for full solutions in line with the customers’ requirements
  • Maintain customer and supplier relationships
  • Present to and carry out meetings on site with potential customers
  • Maintenance of CRM system
  • Take part in marketing activities as required
  • Attend regular product and sales training

Account Director – The Candidate:

To be successful in this role you will need to be ambitious, assertive, decisive, highly self-motivated, optimistic, persuasive and personable with excellent networking skills.

  • Proven ability to sell to C level customers; CISO & CTO
  • Proven ability to sell IT Security solutions into Financial Services/ Legal industries and a compliance based framework
  • Selling PAM and/ or RBAC products a benefit
  • Existing contacts within the Finserv/ Legal/ Utilities community
  • Demonstrable previous new business sales success
  • Have acquired a good level of education coupled with demonstrable business and commercial acumen
  • Hold a full driving license with access to own transport
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with experience of presenting solutions to customers
  • Have a personable and friendly nature with the ability to work on own initiative but to also be a team player
