We have a fantastic new role for a Marketing Manager, our client are looking for a motivated and multi-skilled, Marketing Manager with at least 3 year’s experience in this role to manage strategic marketing initiatives. If you are pro-active, determined, organised and hands-on, this is the perfect role for you. Salary offering of up to £50k base in in Frogmore, Hertfordshire, once established in the role a hybrid of work from home/office may be considered

The Marketing Manager role is varied and the successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing all aspects of marketing through digital campaigns, events and trade shows and printed media. A willingness to learn and be involved in all marketing activities, including Events (UK and abroad) is a must

What you’ll be doing:

This role will best suit someone who has at least 3 years’ experience as a Marketing Manager or similar level ideally in a technical organisation or at the very least, with a keen interest in technology. The ideal candidate will be able to work collaboratively with the wider team and with external vendors to strategize, plan and execute successfully marketing campaigns for both brand-awareness and lead generation.

  • Plan and execute (and occasionally attend) events to exhibit at throughout the UK, Europe and USA.
  • Work with the Marketing Manager for Vendors to co-ordinate marketing development funds from external vendors to spend across key campaigns, events, PPC and merchandise.
  • Set benchmarks/KPIs for success for the marketing department and build a feedback/measurement framework to ensure success is achieved.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key news media, both top tier and trade publications.
  • Manage digital and other channels, to ensure optimal, impactful distribution of marketing and communication content and collateral.
  • Oversee relationships with advertising and media agencies within the region.
  • Develop a high-performing marketing team through evaluation and assessment, coaching and training staff and key stakeholders to build an organization that will support regional business goals

Your skills & experience:

  • An understanding of Computer Hardware or previous experience working in a technical role or organisation
  • The ability to build the narrative around our solutions & services with the assistance of sales and technical teams.
  • Excellent copywriting skills are a must.
  • Develop this narrative into a differentiating and compelling proposition versus our competition and oversee the production of all relevant marketing collateral.
  • Plan and execute all marketing campaigns, using a variety of digital platforms and media: (competency in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop)
  • Social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, Hootsuite)
  • Press Release creation & distribution
  • Newsletters (Mailchimp & Dotmailer)
  • Website content management (competency in WordPress desirable)
  • Google Adwords campaigns
  • Trade Shows and Events (UK, Europe and USA)
