Strategic Account Manager

To £50,000, OTE £60,000 plus benefits

Our client is a leading supplier of outsources sales and marketing services aimed specifically at the technology sector (specifically hardware / services / storage / security).

Several Opportunities are available in their UK based teams based in Uxbridge, West London.

We are currently looking to recruit the services of a Strategic Account Manager to lead, manage and develop strategy in relation to a set of key client accounts.

Working in their Sales department, the Account Manager is the first point of contact with key clients and will be responsible for the ongoing retention and development of these key accounts.

In order to achieve these key objectives you will undertake the following key aspects of the role:-
• Management of Programme Managers
• Understanding client requirements and business drivers
• Drive data driven sales and marketing programmes & campaigns
• Recommending and implementing additional services with clients
• Building senior level client relationships and establishing confidence with contacts
• Manage all aspects of accounts (client relationship, financials, strategy, etc),
• Working with Business Development team
• Generating revenue profitably

In order to be successful in this challenging yet rewarding position we are looking for candidates who can demonstrate the following key attributes:-

• A proven track record of working within a technology (IT or Telecom) background.
• Proven experience working directly with I.T clients and building relationships
• Proven track record of driving a target driven team with strong management skills
• Commercial awareness and demonstrated knowledge of budgets and P&L accounts.
• Wide understanding of direct and database based marketing.
