The role of a Client Manager at Robertson & Sumner combines new business development and account management in a particular vertical and you will look to develop relationships in your specialised market.

Upon joining our team, you will undergo an award winning induction and training programme which will cover all the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in the role. This will include winning new business, candidate power, client negotiation, professional networking, account management of clients, cracking PSLs, interview techniques, and many more relevant topics’.

Once you’re comfortable you have an understanding of the skills and knowledge required to be successful in recruitment, you will look to research your chosen market.  You will then start selling our service offering to new clients and learn to register candidates with relevant sales experience. You will be responsible for the entire recruitment process from the initial job specification through to the candidates start date. You will look to work in partnership with your clients, and look to solve their sales recruitment requirements within an agreed timescale. The role is fast paced and very busy and we place heavy emphasis on client delivery.

At Robertson & Sumner we work very much as a team and you will be assigned a “mentor” to guide you through your development.  We want you to feel confident you have all the tools to succeed in the company and develop your career. You will have access to the latest recruitment software tools, and work in an environment where success is recognised and rewarded. We all work to monthly KPI’s and sales targets, and you will be measured against those on a monthly and quarterly basis.
